Saturday, September 20, 2008 @ 1:00pm ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- General Information North Oakland Ballet Type: Ballet Company Ages: 6+ (over the age of 19 welcome to audition) Director: Miss Kerry Must currently be enrolled in a Ballet class at Kerry’s Dance Stages Commitment: September 2008 - August 2009 Performances: Holiday & Spring Performance (opening or closing the show), All local events scheduled (TBD) North Oakland Ballet Appropriate Dress: Leotard & Tights, Ballet Shoes and Hair in a Bun (Boys: form fitting black pants & tee shirt, ballet shoes) Dancers Anonymous Type: Hip Hop Company Ages: 6+ (over the age of 19 welcome to audition) Director: Miss Melissa Must currently be enrolled in a Hip Hop class at Kerry’s Dance Stages Commitment: September 2008 - August 2009 Performances: Holiday & Spring Performance (opening or closing the show), All local events scheduled (TBD) Dancer's Anonymous Appropriate Dress: Black Hip-Hop Shoes, Leotard and Hip-Hop pants or stretch pants. If you wear shorts, you MUST be wearing tights. Rehearsal Absences Presence at rehearsal is mandatory, as we are learning dances at a fast pace. Please let your director know when you will miss rehearsal... no call no show's are INEXCUSABLE and will result in expulsion from the company all together without refund of company dues, costume and sweatshirt fees. More than 2 excused absences will result in exclusion from an upcoming performance. Absence from rehearsal may also affect future opportunities for a position in the company. Cost and Commitment You may, but are not obligated to audition for both. Rehearsals will take place every Saturday Afternoon during the Fall & Winter sessions. Dances will be learned at a fast pace. Company members will meet for rehearsal, during the summer session, before any scheduled event Costume Fee KDS Sweatshirt Child Sizes $45 Child Sizes $40 Adult Sizes $50 Adult Sizes $45 (sweatshirt mandatory to represent company, prior company members need not re- purchase) *Company Fees are (24 rehearsals): 1 Company $150 Both Companies $220 *These fees are separate from regular tuition fees. The full payment or first payment (inquire within for payment plan) must be paid on or before the first day of rehearsal, after the casting from audition is posted. Sibling discounts apply to company fee, but not costume fee. Each company will have one costume for the entire season, to be worn at every event/performance, along with the KDS Sweatshirt.
