Melissa Holloway, Dance Instructor
Miss Melissa started her dance training at Gotta Dance Dance Studio in Sterling Heights, and then
transferred to The Dance Connection in Richmond where she started her training as a teacher. She
has taught for Spotlight Dance Works in Chesterfield and has choreographed many numbers for
the Romeo high school choir and theatre. Miss Melissa has been dancing for 19 years (10 of those
years competitively) and has been a dance teacher for 9 years. She is well trained in Tap, Jazz,
Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, Pom, and Music Theatre. Because she loves all styles of dance
and music, it would be difficult for her to choose a favorite. As a dance student she has been part
of dances that have won many awards. Her choreography has been awarded and her students
have received top overall awards for solos, and duets/trios. Miss Melissa has had the pleasure of
studying under many famous dancers and choreographers such as Mia Michaels and Dan Karaty
from "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE". With her vast dance background and love for
teaching she proves to be an excellent addition to Kerry’s Dance Stages.
