Paul began ballroom dancing at age 15 and was very active in the swing scene for a
number of years before expanding to Latin and other forms of Ballroom Dance. After
studying under former World Champion Salsa Dancers Elaine Marrero and Victor
Ortiz, he has been teaching at various venues around Metro-Detroit and for special
events. Some of the local facilities he has taught at include the Opera House in Howell,
Oakland University Swing and Salsa Club, and Tu-can Tango in Commerce
Township. Paul teaches Latin, Swing, and American Style Waltz and prides himself on
teaching his students a very smooth lead and follow concept, based on solid
connections. He is very excited to be a member of the KDS staff!
